Linguistics Undergraduate Association (LingUA)

LingUA is the official undergraduate student organization of the Linguistics Department. Their purpose is to unify linguistics majors, minors and interested students through scholarly discussion, social activities and faculty interaction. They aim to foster a warm, inviting environment in which to explore academic and occupational opportunities within UCSD Linguistics department and beyond.

The undergraduate program introduces majors and non-majors to the scientific study of language in the broader perspective of a liberal arts education.

Inquiries about language classes should be directed to the Language Program advisors .
