Resources for LLP Instructors

Information about access to university systems. Instructors for the Linguistics Language Program will need access to:

• Active Directory (UCSD e-mail, TritonEd, Computer log-ins, UC Learning Center to complete mandatory trainings)

The Fall Workshop is mandatory for all instructors that are employed by the Linguistics Language Program.

New instructors: Monday - Wednesday of Week 0

Continuing instructors: Wednesday of Week 0

Paycheck / Payroll Information:

• Instructors for the Linguistics Language Program are paid on a monthly basis. Paydates can be found on the UC San Diego payroll calendar. 
• Instructors are highly encouraged to sign up for direct deposit.
• Earnings statements can be accessed through UCPath (UC's secure payroll and benefits website).

Health Benefits

Eligibility for health benefits is dependent upon the length and percentage of your appointment.  Your eligibilty is explained to you at the time of hire and when changes to your appointment (for example, extension of appointment or increase in time) impact your eligibility.

The closest parking structure is the Scholars Parking Structure located just north of the Applied Physics and Mathematics building in the North Torrey Pines Living Learning Neighborhood.

We recommend purchasing 1 or 10 day parking permits using the ParkMobile app or UCSD parking portal.

• You'll need to create an account using your UCSD email in order to be eligible for the discounted rates. 
• Enter code "47300" in the zone search field for the discounted rate. 
• Payment can be made via credit card or through payroll deductions.
